We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior IT Technician to join our centralised IT support team. As an IT Technician you’ll be using your knowledge and personal skills to deliver excellent customer service in support of resolving IT Service Desk Tasks. Occasionally you will work on IT related projects.   • Brief Description of The Job Role:

  • Working closely in a team to provide technical support to users across several sites both in person and remotely with Windows 11, iOS and Android devices
  • Troubleshoot all hardware and software issues and contribute to solving more complex business challenges in IT
  • Configure and install desktop systems utilising Intune in a hybrid AD environment.
  • Ensure full compliance is met with all our IT and business processes including cyber security.
  • Take a pro-active approach to understand the challenges the IT support team face, helping them to deliver and continually improve the service all round
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps and resolutions to improve support processes.
  • Manage, patch and update all devices across the network to ensure security compliance.
  • Track hardware and software inventory with asset management software.
  • Updating websites and working within Sharepoint sites.
  • Any ad hoc tasks and additional project work required by team.

  • Skills Required:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (Clean)
  • A strong understanding of computers and troubleshooting technical problems.
  • Administrative knowledge of Office 365 and Share Point (Intune desirable)
  • Be skilled in the use of personal computing equipment (PCs, Laptops, Printers, Mobile Phones) in a work environment.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Team leader experience.
  • Professional attitude, and presentation of self.
  • A desire to take ownership and responsibility for their own development.
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, manage your time effectively and work on your own initiative.
